The game does not work!! it prompts the message "Batman: Arkham Asylum could not be run because the file “../BMGame/Splash/PC/Splash.bmp” is missing from the installation. Please re-install and try again."

This finally became available for Mac shortly after I bought my MPB. I had never had a console or PC (capable of running it) to play it on, so I was happy to see it here. In the end it would seem as though the folks over at Feral Interactive have done a great job getting it onto Mac; it runs, plays, and looks great. No issues whatsover throughout my playthrough. Very good game, plus all of the DLC for the game is included here. Lets just hope it doesnt take as long for Arkham City to arrive on Mac!

No problems whatsoever with this port of Batman Arkham Asylum! Great job, Feral Interactive! In terms of the game itself, this is one of the best games ever made…although it would be nicer if it ran a bit faster. (Im using a 2011 MacBook Air though; so Im not surprised.)

Its really quite annoying that when you update the game you have to redownload the entire 9gb file. AWFUL for people with caps on monthly downloads.

So thats what its like to be the Dark Knight! The streamlined combat dynamics and special moves--I especially like the gargoyle silent takedown--make you an awesome engine of physical combat without requiring endless training! The atmosphere is great as is the dialogue and voice-acting (Mark Hamill himself plays the Joker to a…J! My only beef, besides the long load time, has to do with the character designs of Harley Q. & Poison Ivy: I really like her harlequin outfit--oddly enough this is the one that figures as her picture in the unlockable content. Ivy has ivy panties?! And a climbing ivy skin condition! She doesnt look good.

Great game! Its about time quality games like this are being brought over to the Mac world. Cant recommend it enough. Now all we need is Arkham City!!

Awesome game, I have a Nividia 9400M graphics card too, and it works fine. Just set your macs batterys to maximum performance and everything runs smoothly.

this game is fantastic, probably the best game on the App store. Everything runs smootly ang the graphics are amazing. Could you please put Batman arkham city on mac. It would be a huge hit

There is that bug in the aviary (botanical garden) where all the ennemis arent there and the commander pulls the trigger and automatically kill the medical helper (from their cages). Im stuck and cant finish the game. Dont buy it.

Normally, Im not a big fan of PC Games ported to the Mac. But took a chance on this one because Im a huge fan of this series. This game ran perfectly on my 15" MBP Retina. Never had a problem with it. Thanks to the developer and hope to see one for Arkham City!

crashes on the first cutscene, deeming it unplayable. im sure its a great game, just doesnt work for me. update please!!!

The game itself is amazing. There is nothing more satisfying than dropping down on an unsuspecting bad guy and hanging him upside-down from a gargoyle. It ran very smoothly on my 27" iMac (12 GB of memory, ATI Radeon HD 5750 graphics), however I found there were a few minor glitches when playing. I have hot corners enabled, and whenever I moved my mouse too far towards a corner, it would activate during the game, and upon re-entering the window the controls would be thrown off. This often involved Batman trying to move constantly in a single direction, requiring me to pause, leave the game window, then re-enter and un-pause again. However, as soon as I turned off the hot corners everything was perfectly fine, though it was a bit of a pain having to do that. Overall though, I would definitely reccomend this game. Just make sure you turn off your hot corners.

Excellent game! It is as smooth as a hot knife through butter, graphics are excellent. Give us Batman Arkham City!

-the graphics arent half as good as the screen shots -the gameplay is too simple and easy, all you do is click -you need a mouse to play -it drains the computers battery -its not a fun game at all -took a long time to download -when i play it makes the computers fan turn on and its really loud and annoying (just nit picking but i thought id mention it) i dont normally write comments, and when i buy a game even when people comment not to i dont listen so i dont expect you to listen but i just want to help others save their time and money DONT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME, ITS NOT GOOD.

This is game is so fun! For me it was the first real video game (besides like wii sports) I played. And it tooke me a while but its super funa dn worth the money. Im still collecting the Riddler Trophies after four months of playing :)

this is a great game. i have it for 360 and its just out of this world however, my late 2011 macbook pro with an i7 processor is strong enough to play this game, i know ive beat it once on mac but when i started normal mode the game keeps crashing during gameplay. needs an update to fix this. worst of all my computer completely restarts if the game crashes. this is a awesome game but it needs a big update for sure.

Throwing a batarang requires aiming (secondary click-setup in preferences as a right mouse click) and then clicking the left mouse side, but you cant do both at once. When you release the aim, clicking the left button does a strike. Useless. Im sure there is a fix, but except for Feral support telling you to setup the secondary button click, there is no mention of how to do this procedure, and you are stuck in the game. Very disappointing. It should be explained so everyone can figure it out or Feral should drop their insistence that the game works with Magic Mouse.
